My boys...

We love our Daddy and he means the world to us not just on Father's day but every day. Daddy passed the final part of his boards and got his results this week so we had even more reason to celebrate with him. He is completely done with standardized testing for at least 10 yrs! Then comes re certification, but for now he is free from the burden of all test. YEAH!

Pa and the kids at the zoo

These are some of my favorite pictures from Nolan's birthday at the zoo. We had a blast and the birthday boy did, too, which was what mattered. He had all of his favorite friends and family in the same place. The birthday cake was adorable and Mrs. Anderson never disappoints. The candle was dipped in chocolate to match the cake and I was so busy cutting cake a passing it out that I did not realize my son had chomped a big bite out of the wax "3" because he thought it was edible since he tasted chocolate on the outside. I only wish I had a picture of the 3 with the bite out of it. He actually swallowed the wax!?! Strange behavior for my child who refuses to eat almost every meal...

Cousin cuties

This is for Gibby. This picture was taken after Nolan's birthday and it is too cute of all 4 kids. Everyone is growing so fast and it has been so long since our last attempt at a picture of all of them. This is one of 100 that I took and the only one I could get N to cooperate in.

Water fun

Oh, how we love to get wet at my house! We first bought this water slide about 2 years ago for M's birthday but she did not like it and refused to go down. My how times have changed. They beg to play on it every day and it does bring a lot of giggles and smiles for both parents and children, so it has been a nightly event. They are getting very brave and doing things that I never imagined they would know how to do at 3 & 4 yrs old. There was a horsefly buzzing by and N got mad and did not want to get on the slide. So, his picture was of his priceless look when he is mad.
