Tis the Season

Ok, so I have taken a little hiatus from blogging for the month of November, but we are back. We had a wonderful Turkey day with friends and family and I am still stuffed from lunch today. Thanksgiving is great but I love Christmas time. We put our tree up last week and now it is just the extras that will be set up this week. Most of my shopping is complete so I feel that I am going to be able to enjoy every minute of fun with my family now. In the spirit of Christmas cheer and fun we did this "elf yourself" site last year and my kids loved it. We saw that it was up again and so Chris did our pictures (me from the summer tan, as you can see!) and good 'ol Mav, too. The kids saw it and laughed hysterically every time it started to see all of us dancing and the dog. Scroll over the picture and click the arrow to get you in the holiday mood. Election Day

We voted today without incident and only a line of 3 elderly women in front of us. I had to tell Nolan that there were babies close by so we had to use our quiet voice because he does not know how to whisper for anything but a baby... Anyway, here is a pic of our good friends, Russ & April, from Halloween as Todd & Sarah Palin & the baby. There are always great costumes for kids and adults at Rose Park!

This is a picture I took of the boys last week and I think it is quickly becoming a favorite. Don't they look so handsome! I am kinda biased... N is growing up so fast. He is like a little sponge soaking up everything. He is not as verbal as M but that does not mean he is not listening or learning. The other day he spelled out the letters on a t-shirt and I hate to say but I was a little shocked because I did not realize he knew some of the letters.

I just had to share this photo with everyone. We finally had the kids pictures professionally taken. I snap their picture all the time but I am not a professional. This photo and a few others were posted on the photographer's blog so I cannot wait to see the rest of the photos. I may have to take out a loan if they all look like this...

Zebra Stripes and buck teeth
